Hi, I'm Sara, and I write freestyle, impromptu poems to unleash an overwhelmance of emotions. I do this because I have to. Writing poetry is emotional surgery that heals my wounds, helps me make difficult decisions, so that I can keep trudging on. Sometimes I cry before, during, and after I write. It's also neat to create something that has a hidden meaning that no one could figure out because it came from the fantasies in my own private oblivion.
One night a spirit passed.
I felt it ask, "If you do not want to be angry,
then what do you want to be?"
I replied, "All I want is to be free."
It said to me, "You are as free as you want to be."
